GREEN DRAGON
Brian Lynch and Associates are very proud to be a patron of Green Dragon. Green Dragon is the Irish owned entry in the Volvo Ocean Race 2008/2009.
The Volvo Ocean Race is a round the world yacht race which started in Alicante, Spain in October 2008 and concludes in St Petersburg, Russia, during late June 2009. The teams will sail over 37,000 nautical miles of the world’s most treacherous seas via Cape Town, Kochi, Singapore, Qingdao, around Cape Horn to Rio de Janeiro, Boston, Galway, Goteborg and Stockholm.
As a patron, Brian Lynch was the lucky guest on Green Dragon for the start of Leg 2 from Cape Town. Brian is in the yellow survival suit standing at the stern (the back!) of the boat. You can watch him onboard and jumping off on VolvoOceanRace.tv 
Everyone at Brian Lynch and Associates are looking forward to welcoming Green Dragon crew, and all other Volvo Ocean Race crews into Galway on the 23rd/24th May 2009. The fleet have just left Boston on their trans-Atlantic leg to Galway. This Galway stopover is the first time the Volvo Ocean Race has been to Ireland.
